Annabella Utah, a small town of 600 people holds a great secret. Set atop a hill in the western part of town is the one and only, Ashwood Academy. There, gifted teenagers as young as thirteen grow and develop their special 'abilities.' Maybe they can slip through walls or turn into a creature that goes bump in the night. No one knows. For only students are allowed onto the school's grounds.
Ashwood has been opened for a short twenty years and students are graduating from the academy but at what cost? Can they truly control their abilities as well as teachers believe? With the help of unknown downers, Ashwood's creators have established a sister school to the academy, Brentwood University. Life in college is different than at the academy. How will students deal with their transition as well as bonding with the fresh meat attending the university?
For years, those who were gifted had to fear the reality of their gifts. Watch as students from both schools let loose and start taking it back.
